Yahtzee of course. I've never actually bought a game based on any one reviewer, so my opinion of reviewers is purely for entertainment value. And most reviewers are not entertaining at all.
When a game gets a good metascore, I still base my buying decision on word of mouth. Same for when a game has a low-ish metascore. Or I am committed to buying a game before it even comes out. Like Uncharted 4, Dragon Age and Mass Effect 4. A game like Horizon Zero Dawn, I'll be waiting to get impressions from a range of non-reviewer folks here and elsewhere before I commit.
I was surprised to see Shadow of Mordor get such a high metascore, but I was still not going to buy it. Then people 'round these parts and other places started giving it a lot of praise and only then I thought, OK best give it a try then.
