Or maybe just maybe, you do not want a police officer using force like that on a non-violent situation. Why the hell would you arrest someone for disturbing a class by pulling out their phone then putting it away and acting stubborn. Why would any of you even support that type of violence against a student in your schools. If the girl was white, do you believe he would have kept his job. Not sure what america you are from but I am sure it would have been much worst.

If the girl was white, this wouldn't be a story. And I'm not from any America.

I'm not sure what point people want to make with that comment, yet it seems they can get away with a lot less against white students... http://kxan.com/2014/04/20/officer-trips-pushes-students-after-soccer-match-police-investigating/
But sure, maybe if the girls was white, nobody would be questioning whether it was justified? Hence no story?
This ridiculous behavour from the police only reinforces distrust in authority. The one thing she is rebelling against like most teenagers. School is the time to learn there are non violent solutions to difficult problems. This school fails.

The point is pretty simple. More coverage when the student is black. Was that officer fired like in this case? The one thing that we need to trust in is the police's ability to enforce law and order. Now they'll fear to do that due to any kind of backlash. That is why so much antisocial behaviour is possible in Australia.
