Yeah, any article that's going to include phrases like "aggressive stances against meat", "strong conclusions" and "lethal concerns" is only out to oversensationalise. I read the same story (more sensibly reported) in the Metro (free newspaper around London) yesterday. It included more details about what levels would be considered dangerous, and which processed meats had a higher risk than others, and that unless you gorged yourself with huge amounts of the higher risk meats on a daily basis for a long period, then really, not to worry.

 

(Edit after reading full article) - Oh, they say that there, too, and also talk about the chances being small. So they've gone from 'lethal concerns' to 'don't worry about it too much' in the same article. Still a non-story, then.
