I will say competed strongly with Xb one. I'm probably not going to call a winner for this month, I'll wait and see what NPD brings. We just have no idea how the Halo bundle pre-orders have fared across all retailers. Word of Mouth for Halo has not been universally high praise, a lot of people have a few issues with the game, while still being generally positive over all. This would tend to mean people taking their time to buy the game rather than picking it up in the first few weeks, which could mean a lower peak and longer tail for the sales pattern. It will be interesting to do a sales analysis comparing the first 6 months of each main Halo game once Halo 5 hits the 6 month mark. By the look of the commitment to a better performance with the charts we should get that 6 month's of sales information not that long after Halo 5 has been on the market for 6 months.

Sorry, I tried to make it clear I was talking about sales made on October.

During this month PS4 clearly was the most popular choice on online retailers.

And when accounting pre-orders on NPD It'll be a hard battle.

I'm not calling PS4 winner of NPD, but it did beat XBO during Halo month, online at least, as I said earlier.

Right I see what you mean. You mayt be right, and while technically it's not relevant because the only thing that is relevant is the October NPD results regardless of when the sale actually happened, it is an interesting curiosity that the first proper Halo outing on Xb one may not have lead to at least one month of Xb one anhilating PS4 in the USA.
