Well, a step in the right direction on all of those things mentioned IMO.

However the TPP took things in the wrong direction on copyright IMO. The TPP agreement has extended the life of copyright to 75 years after the creator of the work dies. In many countries it was 50 years. It seems to me that 50 years after a person dies is plenty long enough for the inheritors of the copyright to gain value from something they had no part in creating. Basically the great grandchildren of such a person would still benefit with 50 years and these people are unlikely to even have been born at the time the work was produced.
