except that's not necessarily true in my case if we consider that the only thing that I change in my diet was eating meat. Vegetarian isn't synonymus of eating vegetables only. I still ate pancakes, ice cream and all other stuff when I needed to. and no, I didn't gain weight because I ate more, I basically ate the same proportion and still do. I'm a skinny guy and always have been so I didn't stop eating meat to lose weight, that just came naturally. I also said meat has some effect in weight and health in people and not the sole reason of being fat.
Edit: for the record, I'm not saying you can't lose weight by reducing your calories, of course you can but what I meant by not necessarily true is that I didn't suffer hunger or was in a strict diet to lose weight. I did however stop buying food that contain MSG which is a chemical injected in mice by doctor to study obesity and 90% of the food in the supermarket contain that chemical so yeah, meat wasn't the only change I did now that I think about it.
