Case #1: Heroes of Might & Magic 7 

The developers decided on a poll which factions would be included into the main game...

...Needless to say this means that the rest of them will be included in a DLC.

The thing that irritates me is that they could have just included all of them into the base game.

Case #2: Star Wars Battlefront

They are selling us instant accesses to perks and two emote for 10 dollar extra price.

Season Pass is sold at 120 dollars with the base game.

Case #3: Total War: Warhammer

They separated Chaos Warriors from the core game and made it pre-order bonus/ day one DLC.

This wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't such a core faction, and there are only 4 factions if Chaos is excluded which is utter BS imo.
