Congrats! Glad you stuck to the finish. I know I had to restart the game several time back then but afterwards it became one of my favorite of games of the GC and remains the best of the series.
You should also download Super Metroid sometime too. Much faster pace and action reflexive than Metroid Prime but the same amount of exploration and atmosphere as Prime. The sprites are still amazing to look at to this day as well.
