TBH, if I was the customer, I wouldn't find your "answer" satisfactory.
What I would appreciate is if you answered my question first by giving your opinion on the products I "specifically" asked for and after answering all my inquiries, "then" you can start offering other products that you think will suit my needs better. And if I've still chosen an Iphone or a Galaxy then offer me accessories that will protect my phone from my outdoor activities.
Customer is in the market for Product A/B, you offered him Product C since you think it will suit his needs better, he stuck with his choices and bought product B... Then you got annoyed? How is that annoying?
