There have only been two Assassins Creed games I liked.
Black Flag and AC 3.
AC3 doesn't get a lot of love, but the fight mechanics in that game were incredible. Better than the batman games imo. Although AC 3 was pretty mediocre outside of the fighting, but that is okay because I could spend hours just slaughtering red coats without getting bored.
Black Flag isn't just my favorite AC game, it's my 3rd favorite open world game period. Behind only Red Dead Redemption and GTA San Andreas.
All the other AC games have not appealed to me. I Actually disliked AC 2 more than AC 1.
