This is not a rewiew. It's more along the lines of an editorial on gender balance in Assassins Creed Sydicate with a little bit of general backround info about the game thrown in. Wich would be fine, if she had labeled it as such.

I consider myself pretty open to peoples observations and opinions, and usually think you can take some value away from hearing diffrent opinions even if you don't sgree with them, but even I had to roll my eyes at her scoffing at the games 'violence'.
While it may be true that the assassins creed formula is tired and unispired, you're still playing an assassin. Of course theres going to be violence. It's in the feaking name. Come on!

That said, a diplomacy/negoation/threat/extortion system with branching choices and active problem solving, that lead you to diffrent, possibly non-violent, or really really violent outcomes, would be an interesting gameplay mechanic. It also would require effort. And good writing. Not Ubisofts staples.....
