What are some of the games with the best writing?

Tachyon the Fringe, StarLancer, and Mechwarrior 4 Vengeance are more games with good writing.

Tachyon - They gave Bruce Campbell a lot of great stuff to say.  At least half the reason I loved that game was because the main character Jake Logan (I think that was his name) was essentially Bruce Campbell... being voiced by Bruce Campbell.

StarLancer - The game had a TV broadcast you could watch between missions called "The Alliance Conflict News" and that always made it really fun.  For a space sim/shooter game, the story was very well-written and delivered.

Mechwarrior 4 - The game stayed true to its premise.  It delivered a good story with good characters and dialogue.
