I think that, considering video games as a form of art and a medium for Free Speech, developers should be allowed to put whatever they want into a game. Removing or altering content in a game because someone doesn't like it would be censorship. If there's something in a video game you don't like, then don't play it. Not everyone is going to cater to what you like or dislike.

And if you're worried about the children seeing bad things in games, then that's what the ratings are for.
