What are some of the games with the best writing?

Thinking of rocketpig's smartest games what are some of the games with the best writing?

 I think I'll dodge some of the obvious ones and through Super Paper Mario out there (I haven't layed Thousand Year Door yet so can't say that one).

While the writing was pretty simple, it was actually very well written.  The dialogue in that game was just genious for the most part, especially the part with Peach and the lizard guy who I cannot remember the name of.
