People saying this. But in Europe the 3DS is way more expensive for both hardware and software.
I don't memory card prices really factor in as they're free with the system and multiple games as pack ins.
The biggie really is it lacked the killer app to convince people getone . but that's as much the market for what the PSP offered moving onto smart phones. I don't there is an audience for high quality portable gaming, so the 6th gen tech in 3DS was more than enough.
West has ditched handhelds full stop hence no real western support for either system. Nintendo however has a more die hard audience meaning it suffered less.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
