You just seem to be generalizing a lot of stuff.

Some theorists focus on presumed built-in reward systems of the games to explain their potentially addictive nature.[72][73] In reference to gamers such as one suicide in China, the head of one software association was quoted, "In the hypothetical world created by such games, they become confident and gain satisfaction, which they cannot get in the real world."[
Well would ya look at that. The same kind of reward systems found in F2P. Crazy huh. It looks like there might be a connection after all! But I guess I'm just generalizing here and pulling this out of my ass because I'm jealous.
On that note, I'd like to say this - I do not accuse any of you for your health, nor condemn anyone at all for playing PC, playing F2P, playing MOBA, playing on their cell phone, or playing any kind of video game. I don't care about any of that.  I'm telling you why I think that PC gaming is a little too hardcore for me, why I'm not interested in it and I'm providing hard data to back up my facts since none of you are doing so, and since you all think I'm making shit up.

You just spent all that time and energy to say that there is a lot more variety on PC than on home consoles?

Dude.  We know that.  Everyone knows that.

What you seem unable to understand--and honestly, I don't even know how this is possible--is that you do not have to play F2P games if you own a gaming PC.  You do not.  You don't have to play MMOs if you own a gaming PC.  I'm serious, you can look it up.  Why you think otherwise, I have no clue, but I'm telling the truth.

Actually, let me phrase it another way:  you can play any type of game you want on PC AND skip any type of game you don't want to play.

Now, why do you keep acting as though you have no choice but to play MMOs and F2P games?  I play neither one.  I mean, you just told us that traditional gaming on PC is a multi-billion dollar business.

I don't even know what to say anymore.  Your whole premise seems to be that you don't want to play on PC because you would be unable to control yourself and you'd get addicted to MMOs.  Wouldn't that just be your lack of self-control?  If that's the case, if your reason is simply that you have no will-power, then just say so.  Trying to imply that housewives playing Candy Crush is why you can't game on PC is just ridiculous and silly.
