Three months ago, out of nowhere, the decade-old Star Wars RPG Knights of the Old Republic 2 received a significant update on Steam that incorporated support for controllers and widescreen displays, 5K resolution, and Steam Cloud saves. Today, it happened again.

More STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT details revealed through data mining

http://www.pcgamer.com/more-star-wars-battlefront-details-revealed-through-data-mining/

Data miners have uncovered everything there is to know about the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront, pulling apart the beta to get the juicy info. Juicy, that is, if you like combing through a 20 page google doc for specific details about each weapon and ability. I'll leave it here if that takes you fancy.

The season finale trailer for Life is Strange has been revealed, ahead of its release tomorrow today, though be warned that it's quite spoilery if you haven't played the previous episodes. It's Left 4 Dead with the Skaven instead of zombies, and it looks delightful. In fact, it was our favourite game at PAX.

Presumably hopeful that gamers will ignore Groucho Marx's famous adage, Ubisoft is launching its own club. But the club is neither the leather wingback chair nor the pounding EDM variety. The Ubisoft Club is a free to join loyalty rewards program that offers "extra game content, limited edition goodies, [and] discounts in the shop" to members.
