Well guys this it! Less than a day left until the Splatoon patch drops, yal ready? I'm not sure if I'll be able to play again before it does, but I did get in a good last amount of time with each of my soon to be nerfed weapons. Kinda wish I didn't use the Custom Jet Squelcher as much though, as the Kraken nerf is so negligible. 20 extra points is nothing for the weapon, just two or three extra seconds it can easily afford with it's range, and I generally make sure I'm safe before the Kraken ends even if I have to super jump, so the added recovery time is mute. Honestly I see it as buffed overall with that 6% ink efficiency boost. The regular Jet Squelcher though, yeah, probably never using it again lel.

Definitely gonna have to use the E-Liter less on Blackbelly, Kelp, Triggerfish, etc. as mid-range kill potential is really helpful on those maps. Splat Chargers will likely be my go-tos on them as man they kill fast with a ton of damage ups. E-Liter will still be among my top picks on maps like Bluefin and Walleye where it can get easy kills at the start of games if the enemy isn't paying attention, but I'm gonna have to get used to playing super defensively with it now, no more Squiffer-like action.

Blasters, well in general I haven't used them as much due to their more limited mobility, and obviously that's not gonna change now, but I think I'll like the ability space free'd up by not using damage ups. For other Shooter types, well I'm just gonna have to deal with it for the .52, Tentatek, and Forge, but the N-ZAP buff is nice and I think I'll use the Dual Squelcher more now. For Rollers, well, it's just unfortunate especially for the Carbon, but again I'll make do. Overall I'm happy with the coming changes and can't wait for it!
