In all seriousness though, $4000 worth of DLC sounds like quite a lot until you realise that that is for almost two thousand songs. No one's going to buy them all, the far majority of users will pick the tracks they want and avoid the ones they don't want.

Now, I'm not exactly a Defender of the DLC realm but the whole "tallying all DLC up to complain about the total cost" argument is often incredible flawed because when it comes to additional costumes, tracks, etc. most people will only buy some of the DLC, not all of it. And to make sure that everyone can find something of interest it's necessary to provide a decent selection of extra content, which sometimes leads to huge amounts of DLC depending on what kind of game it is.

Indeed forest-san. I just wish that Harmonix could allow games to choose between buying their favorite or albums. Adds more options for the gamer!
