As much as I usually hate on DLC and microtransaction, a game like Rock Band is a perfect fit for by the piece DLC.
Sure the amount to buy all the tracks is staggering but who the fuck buys all the songs anyway? I also find the fact that I can bring all my Rock Band PS3 DLC tracks over to be pretty fantastic.
