If preorders counted Star Wars would be even higher. Amazon definitely keeps them split between months.

But Star Wars isn't out until November. What I'm saying is that Amazon might add the preorders into the month of release so their chartz better reflect the reality of sales for that item/console. This would stop it looking a little odd. Imagine if a console bundle preorder sold incredibly well the month before release but then petered out the month of release. Their monthly for that month would not reflect the reality of how that console is going to sell because that's the actual function of the charts there. So by adding in the preorders they better reflect the expected sales and the overall popularity of the console/item. I could be wrong but it just strikes me as odd how the Halo bundle has been absent for most of the month, beaten for a good time of that and only just taken the lead (by a small margin) but still manages to register a place of #32 in the monthlies.
