After, thinking through for a while, I have realized that the international students are the worst. They are using their influence to try and disseminate lies against me, simply because I didn't want to be their friends. The belong to a hierarchical clique full of corruption and abuse of power. It seems they can't live in a world where one is an individual but rather they MUST, form relationships with all the other international students.
Having worked after college in a job where I did most of the work alone. I got used to not seeing people and not grouping together or asking support from others. But I guess not everyone can be that free.
