I am probably now in the best shape of my life for about 6 years. Doing cardio to cut right now and losing the weight it takesmostly lean muscle pretty easily. Not saying it is easy I just know how to do it well. A ton of cardio with only slightly reduced calorie intake. Lifting is different matter. I bulked up a ton in college and never lost most of it. I am at the point where I have to decide what is too big for me. So, now I try to lift for endurance more than bulk. It is a hard choice because I like lifting.
