They're doing the only thing they know how to do, isn't that how it should be? Square's providing the creative side. Web listings even only show PG as the developer and SE as just the publisher, even if it can be argued that co-developed by both could be more accurate. It's not that different than the whole FROM/JapanStudios thing.
