Actually no, Costco already bought them from Microsoft. If they are selling their stock cheap it will affect only the retailer. 

It will affect the numbers of Xbox Ones Costco will order in the future though.

 

 It might start a domino effect with retailers matching that sale and trying to get rid of any overstock that's collecting dust. It certainly hurts the xbox one's percieved value and image.


That value and image is already tarnished and not very high so selling it at a lower price will not increase demand.I don't know why people don't understand the fact that the public does not want the X1 on a large scale.Price is not the reason for the sales struggle and price cuts have never increased sales long term for any product.See the Zune and Windows phone for reference.
