Well yes, you do have a point. But i mean is that many great acomplishments or feats of humanity wasnt always produced by people who respected other people cultures, preferences or even lives. How many inventions we have today only thanks to wars, which accelerated its development to its needs(for war effort and all).Computer, for example, probably wouldnt be as advanced as it is today without the second world war and the cold war(it was needed to calculate missiles trajetories and such to kill the enemies or to prevent being hitted).Submarines were created by the germans(if im not mistaken), just to gain ocean control during war times. We just even developed tecnologie to go to space just because we wanted to stay one step ahead of the soviet union(or the soviet union wanted to stay one step ahead of the americans, you get the idea). There were even some medical breakthroughs that the nazis discovered at the cost of human lives, but we use them today.
What i want to say is, I dont support any of these pratics, they are horrible and inhuman, but if we are to erase or try to hide every bad side of human history, we are going to praticaly erase almost all of our history, because most of the advances and discoveries we made came atbthe cost of someone or something. The right thing to do is leave the past as it is, to learn from its mistakes and to not make them again, and worry more about the future.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
