its a sore subject, horror is my favorite genre, so i have been let down by horror games pretty consistently for a decade now.

Yeah, I'll try the demo but 99% chance I won't buy it.

It's a longshot but I've seen several Retro Studios tweets declaring their love for Halloween (and it wasn't during that period), so maybe that's a cryptic hint they're making a horror game. Although I doubt it.

Wasn't Alien: Isolation a good horror game? I've seen people mention it a lot.

I'd love a modern game that builds on Fusion with the SA-X, that shit could be scary and intense as hell! Still one of the best villains ever created, even if the final fight ended up as an anti-climax.
