Like every other freakin' game release before it. Ususally the claim is followed by "it will perform better with a full week of sales". Yeah right, following week 70% drop. People fail to see that the majority of sales come in the first few days that also include all the preorders taken months in advance. It's silly and I see people say it time and time again. |
Actually, I generally only see people bringing up the "only been a few days" thing when others are comparing "first week" sales and comparing a true full week from game x to a few days sales of game y - and yes, the difference does matter, unless of course you think the game instantly starts selling 0 after 48 hours.
