Sorry for having the opinion that resorting to scare jumps to scare people is a sign of poor story telling, poor atmosphere and the game designers being dicks. Nothing I hate more in games than scare jumps. Second thing I hate is cutscenes that are too long and QTE.

The problem is that you put your opinion across as fact. Something you later clarified it was your opinion.
