Sega took a massive loss this year for the same reason, their game division has been in a small profit for a few quarters now, but the executives there as well are pumping out machines still, stubbornly refusing to admit that pachinko is not only at deaths door, but about to head into the crematorium oven. Either way, I really hope SNK's Chinese new overlords are better than the buggers who have ruined them since the rebuild around 2003. They need to put some proper games out and consistently keep the quality up like they did in the late 90s. |
