And buying a wii gives you more games than a ps4. Instead people are buying ps4.

From all the bundles you mentioned I like none of them. I don't like Call of duty, halo or fallout. That's why I still haven't bought a ps4 or an xbox one but I have a wii u since almost day one.

People don't buy the wii u among other things because they don't like its games that much. But I know people who has both ps4 and xbox one and they are way more similar than the wii u and even more expensive. The NX should be cheap like the wii was and it should have more variety of genres if they want to get people interested.

Also I'm not saying you are not right. Of course I think Nintendo should sell the wiiu for$200 but I don't see them doing it. Worse decision ever now that the ps4 is sold for $349. But they are known for having some weird decisions so...

 

buying a wii over a ps4 is no where near buying a ps3 over a wii u. Technically speaking, the difference between the ps3 and the wii u is not that much. Definitely not a generational gap. the wii and the xbox one/ps4 has a HUGE gap. Literally the difference between hd and non hd. Also, the wii is no longer getting future support. The ps3 is still getting as much if not more support than the wii u (especially from third party, look at cod, fifa, and minecraft).

There is are many reasons to buy a ps4 over a wii. Not so much to buy a wii u over a ps3.

Likewise, those bundles are meant to appeal to the average customer, so having cod, star wars, and halo bundles are gonna do wonders for sony and ms.

The reason people don't buy the wii u, among many, is because it has a horrendous future. so even though the xbox one and the ps4 are similar, people are still going to buy both over a wii u since both of their futures are brighter. This will be also be an issue for the NX unless Nintendo can finish strong with the wii u. This means making it cheaper, making amazing games for it, and giving it a strong marketing push. This way when the NX does get into the market, Nintendo will be fresh on people's minds
