Is Nintendo's jump into mobile their new fail safe in case of a poorly selling console?

You have to be careful in jumping into anything that hits big. Then throwing your eggs in one basket. The Wii is a great example of that. It dried up, at some point. No matter the reason.

And as far as we've seen, mobile gaming isn't all that stable either. I guess Nintendo is very aware of this...
