Yeah, they removed way too much of both - while I can, sort of, understand their logic behind "hardware problem" with N64, from GC onward that was really not the case, so it must've been preference.

Honestly, I hope they take a few pointers from some of western devs, specifically few Euro-RPG devs, who managed to strike quite good balance between open-worlds and narrative structures in the past.
