I read this earlier. That price is fucking insane, especially since the consumer version is going to have to be way different than this (FOV is crazy small on the current version).
Don't get me wrong, AR will be a game changer in fields like education or modelling and it's an amazing tech.
But with it's current FOV (which MS has said won't get much better) it's all but useless for gaming.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
