I came into this topic expecting to list my preferences where gaming is concerned. After reading the OP, I've decided to still do that, just because.
Consoles > Handheld (consoles) > PC.
Controller > Mouse & keyboard
Sony > Nintendo > Sega > Neo Geo > Microsoft.
2D platformers > 3D
3PS > FPS
Single player > multiplayer
Locked 30 fps + good graphics > 60 fps + okay graphics > sub 30 fps + amazing graphics
Sports, sim, MOBA & strategy
