I think any comparisons to E3 are setting people up for a letdown. You just cannot match the excitement people have for some of the titles that were announced at E3. So, it's probably best to let that go.

They can still have a very compelling show, they've still got unannounced titles (QD, and Bend) both of which were playable at E3 (they weren't present at E3, but Yoshida admitted they were in a playable form already, at E3). GT is still coming, and No Man's Sky still needs a release date. Haven't heard anything from WiLD in awhile, either. So, there's plenty for them to announce/show and create some new excitement for the brand. I just don't think expecting E3 levels of crazy is a good idea. There really aren't that many titles you can go back through history (that Sony has a chance at owning) that inspire those levels of hype.
