The Legend of Zelda is definitely my favourite franchise. I have beaten every official Zelda game (except for the CD-i Zelda titles, and the Tingle spin off games). I have yet to get 100% on Hyrule Warriors, otherwise I have completed every Zelda entry.
The gameplay in Zelda is always on point. The stories are interesting and relatable, despite not necessarily being groundbreaking. The sense of adventure these titles have is incredible. There are many open world games that have bigger overworlds, yet they do not capture that sense of joy and adventure that Zelda titles have.
Honestly, The Legend of Zelda is my all-time favourite franchise, followed by Kingdom Hearts.
