Ea are being too nice this gen. I'm scared.
Surely, surely this will end up cutting into retail sales?
People who instead of buying the game at launch just wait for it on ea access as it's proven to be a wait of only 7-12 months, and people who otherwise pick up games cheaper, which costs more than a year's sub of access.
There must be something obvious we are missing. Are Microsoft subsidising it so as that ea incur minimal potential losses? May explain why it's not on pc at least. But really, coming from the same studio who heavily pushed multiplayer codes to play online, this is weird as hell
