So... Why everybody complains so much about Wii U's hard drive and not the PS4 one?

and no, Flash memory is much more expensive per gig than an hdd.

The 5-7 thousand times a second thing looked kinda crazy to me too and I was curious if that was accurate.  300,000 rpm is nothing to sneeze at, although my only experience with those numbers is using research centrifuges.  

If it didn't just explode before it even reached those speeds, you'd probably be able to see an orange/red glow from the vents if you turned the lights off with it running. As it cooked the insides of the console of course.
