pretty sure ninty takes more than half of the first part easily and historically.... And few of them are niche from the market share pov...

and halo OK it's an FPS if you want still the best easily on console..

I thought you were making a direct XOne/ PS4 comparison.  You did state that "they're lucky the competition doesn't make platformers." Anyways CoD (as milked as it is) can definitely make a case for best FPS on console. I'd say Sony handily takes action/ adventure, RPG (s/o to Pokemon though), hack & slash + QTE. Fighting is debateable because of Smash & it's close with platforming between Sony/ Nintendo.
