I don't have a problem with the scores in general, but the videogamer video review is almost insultingly bad for 3 reasons.

- he actually uses the whole ludonarative dissonance crap as an argument
- he almost argues that these games are worse for being 60fps
- and he finally just throws an almost straight up insult at the fans and the games by saying that Uncharted wouldn't be remotely as popular as it is if it wasn't for exclusivity and console wars.

Point 1 I agree. Point 2, I don't think he was saying that, but I see how you could infer it.

Point 3 though, I disagree with you.

The first Uncharted was really good, but it wasn't holy crap amazing. It definitely received a boost from its exclusivity. The series only went from pretty great to straight-up incredible with its second iteration. Certainly not a Sony-specific thing, but its not out of line to suggest that exclusivity helps good games be described as great games, and great games be described as timeless.

More generally, this is a really good score. Remember, this is a remaster of a set of games, the oldest of which is now pushing a decade gone. The scores are also in line with other remaster scores of recent times.

Yep... we can't say for sure being exclusive impact the score, but certainly affects hype and sales.
