Never was this demonstrated more accurately than when Pitbull – media mogul and self-promoting popstar – declared that he would visit the Walmart with the most ‘likes’ on Facebook. Dave Thorpe (@Arr) Hendren’s friend (and boss) hijacked the campaign with Hendren, deliberately focusing on the remote town of Kodiak, Alaska, and their Walmart Facebook page. The result? Pitbull went to Alaska, and took Thorpe with him. According to Hendren, Pitbull himself was “cool” about the whole thing.
