It is clear now that if there is to be stability and security in Syria once again then the Syrian government should be assisted in beating back ISIS and Al Nusra Front and the rest of jihadis supported by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey. It is also clear now that US and NATO policy of dividing jihadis into "good" and "bad" ones has failed once again. Russia does have that discrimination doctrine, it will bomb all of them.

The Syrian government has been throughout saying that all the rebels are jihadi terrorists, which is actually true as the "free syrian army" and "moderate" rebels are just a sham. Apparently the US govt has spent 500 million $ in training 4-5 "moderate rebels". The rest have been killed by al qaeda, defected or joined terrorists, or have provided NATO weapons to the terrorists. Moreover ISIS has grown even more powerful since the NATO air strikes have started.

Syria and Lebanon are the only 2 states in the region where cultural and religious diversity is encouraged and only a secular government like the one in Syria can preserve this. The West by providing tacit support to the rebels is actually supporting a cultural holocaust,
