| d21lewis said: Okay. Maybe it's not a conspiracy. Maybe the Uncharted series has always been about having the flashiest graphics, great presentation, decent tps mechanics, and a fun story. Maybe the graphics aren't state of the art anymore, the Uncharted style of "platforming" isn't fresh anymore, and the games are getting the score they deserve. Not a bad score by any means. Let's not get out panties in a bunch. We used to say this all of the time last gen: games that got their high scores because of graphics aren't going to be timeless. The Uncharted series--especially the second one--were amongst the best in their time. But new tech will always make older games less impressive. In my personal opinion, GeoW Ultimate Edition hasn't aged that well. It's an 8/10 game now. It happens. For all of its value, the Nathan Drake collection is a collection of games that aren't 10/10 material right now. Uncharted 4? I'm sure that game will set the world on fire. Let's just enjoy what we got and let it prepare us for what's next. |
The only issue is that some reviews writing and score where a little discrepant. A lot of praises but low score.
