My point is that it should be so easy to do that there's two possible reasons why Sony hasn't done it yet:

• It's not in their interests for some reason.
• They haven't thought of the idea (in which case they suck at their jobs).

Nowhere near as simple as you think it is. 

But they could implement it if they wanted to, but this is pretty low on everyone's list at the moment
