You can enter the green pipe on the right to retry the Yoshi race part btw! You don't have to restart the level in case you were wondering.

 

I would've put blocks there to block it, but I kind of ran out blocks to lay down and I didn't figure many would attempt to do that.

I am aware of the green pipe, but most of the time I fell victim to the second saw because I didn't have proper  momentum to clear the jump. 

You can slow down a bit on that part, you'll still be in time for the yoshis.

And yeah, I've struggled with the limits on objects a lot on some of my levels as well. I wish they expanded upon it.
