another person with no clue what hdd cost... the difference between 1TB and 500GB is like 5 euros in !retail! sony realy cheaped out with the hdd. the product would be much better if they increased the price 10€ and packed in a 1tb 7200 rpm.


2 years ago? I would say closer to 20-25 dollars;

MS is likely having 1Tb costing 50 more at retail than 500Gb and Sony is possibly doing the same... but sure, it was just 5 bucks
