Yes so far it's been good like that. Hopefully more upsets and tighter matches will be matter of course for the RWC in the future. Although for years and years I was expecting Italy to reach a much more powerful position(with regards to 6 Nations performances) but that still hasn't happened and Italy had pretty bad losses against Wales, England and France.
So I hope the other minnows can close the gap quicker than Italy. USA had a good first half against Scotland(a weak team IMO) but just that extra bit of class from the big nations able to assure victory.
