Yeah, just saw that on Hashima's Blog. I don't know what their expectations were, but I think its great for A VN (with SRPG elements) to sell that amount.
There is an anime coming up in October I think, so that should give it a push too (if its a good adaptation like the first one). Anyways, always glad when small games sell ^^
