That's a horrible excuse. Nothing needs to be delayed, they would have known about the situation years in advance.
CoD is still profitable on last generation, might as well do a service for long time fans, it's not like Activision wouldn't profit from it.

Isn't porting the main parts of the game a service to longtime fans by itself? There are so many next gen only games, it's kind of refreshing to see an option for last gen players, I don't know why people are so angry about it. Suddenly we are entitled to a full game being ported because activision has money? No one complained when gta V didn't go to wii u even though rockstar got tons of money
